Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold CEV425CP Black is a single-door upright glass merchandiser for chilled drinks and grab-and-go stock, presenting product behind one hinged glass door on five black wire shelves. Its all-black finish suits a convenience store, bar or café where a dark cabinet fits the fit-out. With 345 litres of net capacity, it handles an impulse drinks range from a compact upright.
It uses a mechanical controller with automatic off-cycle defrost to keep the coil clear without manual intervention. Running noise is rated at 45 dB, so it suits a customer-facing position. At its rated 821.2 kWh a year, running cost is about £205 a year at 25p/kWh, and it sits in energy class D.
Internally it offers 504 × 458 × 1553 mm (W×D×H) of shelved display space and it weighs 83 kg gross, so plan the delivery route and a level position. It runs from a standard 13 A supply and uses 70 g of natural R600a refrigerant, so no special electrics are needed beyond a dedicated socket.
