Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The CEV425 Black is an upright single-door glass merchandiser finished in black inside and out, built to display chilled stock rather than store it out of sight. The black cabinet and five black wire shelves give a darker backdrop that makes branded cans, bottles and pre-packed lines stand out, across a 358-litre gross volume behind a full-height glass door.
The cabinet runs under a mechanical controller with an automatic defrost, so frost is cleared without staff intervention. It uses R600a refrigerant with a 70 g charge and carries a class D energy rating, keeping the display running as a chilled grab-and-go merchandiser on a plug-in supply.
The CEV425 measures 595 × 600 × 1840 mm externally and 470 × 440 × 1555 mm inside, so its 595 mm width suits a slot against a wall or between fixtures. It draws from a standard 13A supply, and its class D rating and 803 kWh annual figure work out to about £201 a year at 25p/kWh.
