Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Atom Maxi C1DS is a single-door glass merchandiser built to put chilled stock in front of customers rather than store it out of sight. A single hinged glass door fronts 0.98 m² of display across five adjustable shelves, with a silver RAL9006 exterior and white RAL9003 interior, holding 614 litres gross and 459 litres net — sized for drinks, food-to-go and grab-and-go chilled lines.
Ventilated cooling holds the cabinet from -1 to +10 °C under an electronic controller, with automatic off-cycle defrost so there is no manual intervention in daily trading. It carries climate class 3 for standard indoor retail conditions and runs at 58 dB. Rated energy class B, it uses 912.5 kWh a year — about £228 a year at 25p/kWh — at an energy efficiency index of 15.4.
The cabinet measures 660 × 595 × 1568 mm internally and runs on natural R290 refrigerant with an 85 g charge, drawing from a standard 13 A, 220–240 V supply. It is delivered packed at 775 × 770 × 2090 mm and weighs 130 kg net, so plan the delivery route and a second pair of hands for positioning.
