Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold FSC1200S Black is a large double-door glass merchandiser for high-volume chilled display. Two self-closing sliding glass doors front five black wire shelves carrying 967 litres of gross volume (645 litres net), so grab-and-go drinks and packaged lines stay visible and in reach. The black exterior suits a modern shop floor or front-of-house run.
The cabinet holds a +2 to +10 °C band with automatic defrost, set on an electronic controller. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 120 g charge and runs at 48 dB, and carries climate class 4, rated for standard ambient trading conditions. The self-closing sliding doors cut cold loss in a busy trading area. At energy class F it draws 2482 kWh a year — about £621 a year at 25p/kWh.
Inside, the usable load space measures 1090 mm wide, 572 mm deep and 1533 mm tall across the five shelves. It runs from a standard 13-amp supply and weighs 183 kg gross, so plan for a clear delivery route and two people to position it. Refrigerant is R290 with a 120 g charge.
