Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The FS1002S is TEFCOLD's full-height double door merchandiser: two self-closing sliding glass doors on a white cabinet, with 540 litres of net display volume (730 litres gross) behind the glass. Sliding doors keep the aisle in front clear in tight shop layouts, and the self-closers shut behind every customer during busy periods. Inside, the white finish gives stock a clean, high-contrast background across a usable internal space of 890 × 573 × 1533 mm.
It holds +2 to +10 °C with ventilated cooling and automatic defrost, managed by an electronic controller — there is no manual defrost routine to keep on top of. At 48 dB it sits comfortably in customer-facing areas, and its climate class 4 rating covers hot, busy retail environments. The trade-off for the capacity is energy: it is rated class F at 2,482 kWh a year, which works out at about £621 a year at 25p/kWh.
At 1000 mm wide, 735 mm deep and 1990 mm tall, the cabinet stands just under two metres; packed it measures 1060 × 800 × 2160 mm, so check the height of the delivery route as well as door widths. It weighs 163 kg unpacked. Electrics are straightforward — 450 W on a 220-240 V 50 Hz supply through a standard 13 amp plug — and it runs on R290 refrigerant with a 120 g charge.
