Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The BLIZZARD GD900SL is a wide upright double-door display merchandiser that holds chilled stock behind clear glass for customers to see and self-select. At over 900 litres gross capacity with eight adjustable shelves, it carries substantial range. Its two doors slide rather than swing—with a dwell position that holds them open while you reach in—so it needs no aisle clearance in front. The extra width (nearly 1.3 m) gives a broad glass frontage to merchandise a deeper range across a busy shop floor. The cabinet itself does the selling. It comes with castors so you can position it precisely on the shop floor.
Day to day it runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low environmental impact, and clears frost by automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to schedule. It operates between +2 and +8 °C and carries a climate class 4 rating, so it is built to hold its temperature in warmer ambient conditions such as a busy shop floor that heats up through the trading day. The digital controller with temperature display lets you monitor and adjust the set point. At just 350 W input power, running costs stay reasonable even in continuous operation.
The cabinet measures 1295 × 695 × 2010 mm (W×D×H), so access is the first thing to check: at nearly 1.3 m wide and just over two metres tall, measure doorways, corridors and the final wall run before delivery. At 151 kg it needs clear access and more than one person to position. Sliding doors mean no swing clearance once it is sited, but leave room at the rear (at least 100 mm) for ventilation.
