Why this countertop glass door fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD BC25CP is an ultra-compact counter-top chiller with a single hinged, self-closing glass door, built to put chilled stock at eye level where impulse decisions are made. It offers 25 litres gross and 22 litres net across two black wire shelves, inside a black cabinet with a grey coated-aluminium interior. On a till counter or service point it merchandises drinks, snacks or prepared items without taking floor space.
The chiller holds +2 to +10 °C with automatic defrost and a simple mechanical controller. Its energy class B rating at 173.7 kWh a year works out at about £43 a year at 25p/kWh, and it runs at 44 dB — unobtrusive on a front-of-house counter. It is rated climate class 4 for warm, busy rooms.
The cabinet measures 332 × 423 × 618 mm (W×D×H) externally, a footprint narrow enough for most counters, with a 258 × 270 × 373 mm interior. It weighs 24 kg gross, plugs into a standard 13 A / 220–240 V supply drawing 75 W, and cools with R600a hydrocarbon refrigerant on a 20 g charge.
