Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The LPD900F is a chilled display cabinet built to merchandise cakes, patisserie and cold desserts through glass on the front and sides. It gives 1.44 m² of display area across two glass shelves plus the base, in a stainless steel and glass body, with two sliding glass doors at the rear for staff access.
It holds +2 to +8 °C under electronic control, with automatic off-cycle defrost that clears frost during the compressor's natural rest periods. It runs on R290 with a 110 g charge and is rated climate class 3. Rated energy use is 3500.3 kWh a year at energy class D — about £875 a year at 25p/kWh — drawing 480 W.
The cabinet measures 905 × 745 × 1209 mm (W×D×H) and is heavy at 224 kg gross, so plan the delivery route and a level floor before install. It runs from a standard 13 amp, 220-240 V supply. Gross volume is 275 litres against 140 litres net, and the rear sliding doors let staff restock from behind the counter.
