Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Chopin 1500 FV-VP is a chilled display cabinet built to present cakes, patisserie and chilled desserts through glass. A 3.29 m² display area and two sliding glass doors give a large, servable presentation surface, with a white exterior and a stainless steel and glass interior. As a display cabinet it suits front-of-house counters where product is shown and served.
It holds a temperature band of +2 to +6 °C, a tight range for patisserie and chilled desserts. Cooling uses R290 refrigerant with automatic defrost, so the cabinet manages ice clearance without manual intervention. It carries energy class B and climate class 3 for typical indoor ambient conditions.
The cabinet measures 1550 × 800 × 1300 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 320 kg, so plan the doorway route and a level, load-rated floor before delivery. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V. Energy use is rated at 2306.8 kWh a year — about £577 a year at 25p/kWh.
