Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The CHOPIN 1000 FV-VP is a chilled display cabinet built to show cakes, patisserie and chilled desserts through glass. A 2.35 m² display area presents product across a compact 1050 mm-wide footprint, and two sliding glass doors give staff access from the serving side while keeping the cold in. The white exterior with a stainless steel and glass interior suits patisserie counters and café displays.
It holds +2 to +6 °C, a tight chilled band for cakes, desserts and other prepared chilled product. Defrost is automatic. It carries an energy class B rating — strong for a glazed display cabinet — at 1620.6 kWh a year, about £405 a year at 25p/kWh, with a climate class of 3 for warm room conditions.
The cabinet measures 1050 × 800 × 1300 mm and weighs 185 kg net, 215 kg packed, so check doorways and the delivery route against those figures. It runs from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V and cools with R290 refrigerant.
