Why this product earns its place
The GP294 is a deli display fridge in Polar's G-Series, made to present prepared foods, cakes and deli items where customers can see them. It works as a chilled merchandiser at or beside the counter, turning made-up product into a visible, self-selling display for a café, deli or bakery front rather than sitting in the back as cold storage. The cabinet holds 270 litres across 2 adjustable shelves, giving you flexibility to show tall items or layer facings depending on what you're selling.
As a chilled display cabinet it holds product at serving condition through the trading day at temperatures between +2 and +8 °C. It carries the G-Series "energy efficient" billing in its name — it runs at Energy class A and uses just 2.85 kWh per 24 hours (1041 kWh annually). The cabinet is built from stainless steel and glass, finished in silver, with forced-air cooling and R290 refrigerant (GWP 3) for environmental efficiency.
Before you order, measure your counter run and check the cabinet's external footprint — it measures 1215 mm (H) × 915 mm (W) × 675 mm (D) and weighs 188 kg gross, so plan accordingly and leave access for restocking and cleaning.
