Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Cold Display is a chilled cake display fridge with a flat glass front, built to show cakes, gateaux and patisserie at the counter. It puts the day's bakes at eye level behind clean glass, so customers buy what they can see and staff serve from the front. The 300-litre capacity holds a solid working range for a busy counter without constant restocking. For cafés, bakeries and delis, a chilled display like this is what turns a tray of cakes into counter sales, with presentation and safe cold holding in one cabinet.
It runs as a chilled cabinet, holding cakes and desserts at a steady serving temperature of 2–10°C, so cream, ganache and fresh fillings stay safe and firm through the day. The flat glass front keeps the display clear from the customer side while the cabinet does the cooling behind it with automatic defrost, so you don't have to manage ice. Load it in the morning and it holds the range presentable to close.
This is a floor-standing counter cabinet, built to a compact footprint: 800 mm wide, 780 mm deep and 1.3 metres tall. Plan a spot on the counter run with clearance for the compressor to vent and room to load from the serving side. Confirm these external dimensions against your available counter space before you order, and measure your access route so it turns through your doorways cleanly. The cabinet is relatively light at 100 kg, so it handles the move. Craven Cooling can help you plan the siting and check the electrics before delivery.
