Why this countertop cake display fridge earns its place
The Tefcold UPD200 is an upright refrigerated glass display tower built to show cakes, desserts and cold patisserie through 2.29 m² of glass. Five white wire shelves stack product up an 1800 mm cabinet behind a single hinged glass door, turning a small 706 × 706 mm footprint into a full-height merchandising display. The anodised aluminium body holds 468 litres gross, 425 litres net.
It holds a +2 to +12 °C band, wide enough to suit cakes and chilled desserts, with automatic defrost managed by an electronic controller. Rated noise is 46 dB, and climate class 4 covers warm café conditions. At energy class B it uses 1822 kWh a year — about £456 a year at 25p/kWh.
The tower stands 706 mm wide, 706 mm deep and 1800 mm tall, so check ceiling and door heights before delivery — packed it ships at 760 × 820 × 1930 mm and 160 kg gross. It plugs into a standard 13 A socket, drawing 255 W at 220-240 V, and uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 130 g charge.
