Why this display fridge earns its place
The PG024 is part of Polar's G-Series and takes the impulse-buy display job onto the counter itself. The 145 litre square glass cabinet uses bright LED lighting and three adjustable shelves to show cakes, gateaux, patisserie and packaged chilled snacks clearly from the front and sides, so customers see the product before they reach the till. For a café or bakery counter it turns dead counter space into a selling surface without committing floor area to a full cabinet.
Forced-air cooling helps move chilled air evenly through the display, with a digital controller holding the cabinet across a +0 to +12 °C range. The specification lists R290 refrigerant with GWP 3, a 330 W rated input, 220-240V supply, energy class B and 1203 kWh/year energy consumption, giving buyers the key figures needed before comparing running cost. Stainless steel and glass construction, rear removable sliding doors and automatic defrost make it a practical front-of-house cabinet as well as a visual one.
The footprint is compact for the display volume: 708 mm wide, 585 mm deep and 887 mm high, with a 72.5 kg gross weight. It still needs a solid, level counter, ventilation clearance and a socket within reach, so confirm the counter depth, surrounding clearance and route to the serving area before it arrives. The warranty is 2 years parts and labour.
