Why this display fridge earns its place
The Polar G-Series PG003 is a countertop display fridge with squared, flat black-framed glass. It sits on an existing counter rather than the floor, presenting cakes, patisserie, sandwiches and cold drinks at the point of sale where customers are already queuing to pay. At 686mm tall by 702mm wide and just 568mm deep, it sits comfortably on a standard cafe counter without overwhelming the space. The straight-sided glass gives a clean, unfussy look on the counter.
In use it is a chilled display for pre-made product: it holds and shows items that are already at temperature rather than cooling warm goods down, so it is stocked with product that has been chilled elsewhere. At 120 litres, the 2-shelf cabinet fits a steady display of cakes and impulse items. Keeping it out of direct sun and away from ovens or other heat sources helps it hold a steady 0–12 °C display through service.
At 55 kg, it is light enough to install and move around the counter, but does need a level surface and nearby socket — it runs on standard 220–240V power and draws 160 W. Check the exact dimensions and weight from the spec sheet against your counter before you order, and allow ventilation clearance around the cabinet for airflow.
