Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The Tefcold CW2V is a drop-in buffet display fridge designed to be built into a counter or servery for chilled self-service. Its stainless steel well holds 111 litres gross and 110 litres net, presenting cold food at the point of service. The stainless finish inside and out wipes down easily in a food-service setting.
It runs at +2 to +8 °C, the food-safe chilled band for buffet and grab-and-go lines, held by an electronic controller with automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to manage. Running noise is 42 dB, quiet enough for a customer-facing counter. At 1335.9 kWh a year it costs about £334 a year at 25p/kWh.
The chilled well measures 676 × 576 × 186 mm (W×D×H) internally, the aperture to design your counter cut-out around. It runs from a standard 13 amp supply, draws 122 W, and uses natural R290 refrigerant. Because it drops into a counter, confirm your worktop depth and cut-out before installation.
