Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The Combisteel 7495.0085 is a drop-in refrigerated unit — a chilled well measuring 1765 mm wide, 720 mm deep and 677 mm high, built to recess into the top of a counter, buffet or display run rather than stand on the floor. It turns a fixed worktop into a cold display for gastronorm pans of prepared food, running at +0 to +4°C, so a café, deli or farm shop can present chilled items where customers see them. Because it drops in, the cabinetry around it stays yours to design.
It runs ventilated cooling with fan-assisted air circulation to hold a spread of gastronorm pans evenly across the well, which suits grab-and-go salads, desserts, cold starters and deli fillings on show through the day. The 160 mm depth (when recessed) keeps the display shallow and accessible from the service side. Staff load and swap pans from the top as stock turns over, keeping the display full without opening a door. It is built to sit in one place and run as part of the counter, weighing just 89 kg for straightforward installation.
As a drop-in, it needs a prepared aperture and ventilation in the counter — the full external dimensions are on the specification for this page, so hand them to your counter builder before the cut-out is made. It runs on 230V, 50Hz mains. Get the recess right at fit-out and the unit runs discreetly inside the counter line. Our team can help you check the fit.
