Why this single door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco by TEFCOLD SGD-120RGE is a high-end backbar cooler built to chill and show bottles and cans at the point of sale. A single hinged glass door puts stock on display while keeping it cold, and the anthracite RAL 7021 exterior with a silver interior suits a front-of-house bar. Gross capacity is 135 litres, 124 litres of it usable.
Cooling is ventilated for even temperature and quick recovery after the door is opened, holding a +2 to +10 °C band under an electronic controller with automatic defrost. It carries a D energy rating with an energy efficiency index of 40, uses 443 kWh a year — about £111 a year at 25p/kWh — and draws 327 W. Rated noise is 47 dB, low enough for a front-of-house position.
The cooler weighs 63 kg gross and 58 kg net, on a standard 220–240 V/50 Hz single-phase supply. Cooling uses natural-hydrocarbon R290 refrigerant with a 60 g charge. The glass door and silver interior keep displayed stock visible while holding temperature.
