Why this beer fridge earns its place
The IMC Mistral M90 (F77/250) is a double-door bottle cooler from IMC's Mistral range, built to sit on the back bar and keep bottled stock cold within arm's reach of the till. It measures 900 mm wide by 900 mm deep and 500 mm tall—a generously proportioned cabinet with a wide stainless steel exterior that fits high-end bar settings. Two hinged doors give two loading zones behind the counter, so a busy service can pull from either end without staff crossing over each other. It is a front-of-house workhorse: bottled lagers, mixers and soft drinks stay chilled and merchandised through the shift.
Through service it runs as a dedicated bottle cooler, holding drinks at +2 to +6 °C using forced air cooling and an auto-defrost cycle. It chills stock down and holds it steady while the doors open and close through the rush. Weighing just 53 kg and running on 232 W at 240V, it uses around 640 kWh per year (energy class C) and produces 65 dB(A) of noise—moderate for a busy bar setting. Load it evenly across both doors so airflow reaches every bottle, keep the front rows facing so staff can grab by feel, and restock from behind to rotate stock through. The cabinet has 2 shelves and uses R290 refrigerant.
As a back-bar cabinet it needs a level slot behind the counter with clearance around the vents so the refrigeration can breathe, plus a socket within reach. The 900 mm width and depth commit significant counter space, so plan the layout carefully before ordering. Confirm the electrical supply is within reach of the position. It comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty, and Craven Cooling can advise on siting and servicing.
