Why this bowl earns its place
The Blizzard GF140 is a single glass-door glass froster, a compact upright cabinet built to hold beer and cocktail glassware at frosting temperature ready for service. A frosted glass lifts a draught pint or a cocktail, and keeping chilled glasses on tap at the bar turns an ordinary serve into a better one. The glazed door lets staff read stock levels at a glance during a busy service.
It carries a manual defrost, so build a periodic defrost-and-wipe into the cleaning routine rather than expecting the cabinet to clear itself. Running noise is a low 53 dB, quiet enough to sit front-of-house without intruding on the room, and it is rated to climate class 4, so it holds up in the warmer, busier ambient conditions behind a working bar. Cooling uses natural R600a refrigerant, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
At 598 mm wide, 613 mm deep and 819 mm high, it fits a standard under-counter or back-bar gap — measure the aperture and the door swing before install. It weighs 47 kg, so site it on a solid base with clearance around it for airflow. For shelving, capacity, controller and electrical supply, see the spec table below, and Craven Cooling can advise on siting and servicing.
