Why this double door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco by TEFCOLD SCL-22GMU+ is a high-end backbar cooler built to display and chill bottles and cans behind the bar. Two hinged glass doors put stock on show while keeping it cold, and the anthracite RAL 7021 exterior with a silver interior suits a front-of-house service run. It offers 299 litres gross and 275 litres net.
The cabinet holds +2 to +10 °C using ventilated cooling for an even temperature across the shelves, with automatic defrost and an electronic controller handling the day-to-day running. It uses R290 refrigerant with an 80 g charge and runs at 41 dB, quiet enough for front-of-house. Rated energy class C, it draws 230 W and uses 560 kWh a year — about £140 a year at 25p/kWh.
Internally the cabinet measures 870 × 470 × 735 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 1300 × 610 × 970 mm (W×D×H), so check delivery access against the packed size. It runs on a 220–240 V/50 Hz supply with R290 refrigerant.
