Why this beer fridge earns its place
The GL016 is a double-door back bar cooler from Polar's G-Series, holding 208 litres of bottled stock in a compact 900 × 900 × 520mm footprint. It is fitted with solid doors rather than glass, built for the back-bar line: chilled stock held at the point of pour so bar staff restock and serve without leaving their station. The solid doors keep the contents out of sight, which suits working storage behind the bar rather than a customer-facing display.
Two doors mean staff can reach stock from either side of the cabinet, keeping restocking quick across a busy shift, and each door only opens over its own section so the rest of the cooler stays shut and cold. The cabinet runs at +2 to +8 °C across four shelves with R600a refrigerant and Energy class A, so it holds serving temperature steadily while keeping running costs down. It is a back-bar format designed to run as dedicated bar refrigeration alongside your cellar and kitchen chillers, not to double as general food storage.
The compact 900mm width and 520mm depth let it tuck neatly into tight back-bar runs, and it weighs 62kg when fully installed so it can be moved with care. As a Polar G-Series cabinet it is a purpose-built bar cooler rather a general fridge pressed into service. For confirmation of dimensions before you order, or servicing once it is installed, Craven Cooling's team can advise.
