Why this beer fridge earns its place
The Gamko CE555 is a double sliding-door bottle cooler for the back bar, holding 275 litres of bottled beer, mixers and soft drinks at the point of service. Its two sliding doors give staff quick access across a 1200 mm-wide cabinet without a door swinging out into a tight gangway, which keeps service moving during a rush. It is a front-of-house cabinet designed to keep bottled stock cold and to hand.
Sliding doors suit back-bar runs where space behind the bar is tight and a hinged door would foul the pass or the person working next to it. Keeping the doors closed between grabs also limits warm-air ingress on a hot, busy night. The cabinet runs at +1 to +18 °C with a class D energy rating and consumes around 0.5 kWh per day. At 135 kg it is lighter than the larger three-door models but still a substantial piece of equipment that needs proper structural support.
Before install, confirm the electrical supply (220–240V) and the weight against your site, and check the plinth and gangway the cabinet has to sit in. Gamko bottle coolers are back-bar units rather than under-counter drawers, so plan the run they slot into.
