Why this beer dump earns its place
The TEFCOLD KBAK104PLUS Bottle Dump Cooler is a top-loading cooler built to hold bottled and canned drinks cold and within easy reach at the point of service. It loads from the top, so staff dip straight in during a busy service rather than opening a door, and the white finish inside and out keeps it looking clean behind a bar or counter. The internal well measures 900 × 500 × 555 mm (W×D×H).
The cooler holds a temperature band of +1 to +8 °C, right for chilling drinks ready to serve. Defrost is manual and the cabinet runs on a mechanical controller, a straightforward setup with fewer electronics to fault. It carries an energy class of B — drawing 197.1 kWh a year, about £49 a year at 25p/kWh — runs at a quiet 45 dB, and is rated climate class 4 for warm, busy service environments.
It draws 190 W and runs from a 13 A plug, so it goes straight onto a standard socket with no special electrics. It weighs 60 kg gross. Refrigerant is R600a hydrocarbon, a low-GWP gas standard on efficient modern coolers.
