Why this back bar fridge earns its place
The BAR20SS is an upright bottle cooler from Blizzard with two hinged glass doors, built to merchandise chilled drinks where customers and staff can see the stock. As a tall glass-fronted upright it puts bottles and cans on show behind the bar, keeping brands facing forward and drinks ready to serve rather than hidden in a solid-door cabinet.
Day to day it uses off-cycle defrost, which clears frost during the natural warming part of the cycle without a separate heater stage, and it is rated to climate class 4 so it holds temperature in the warmer, busier ambient of a working bar. It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global-warming potential. Full temperature, capacity and energy figures are set out in the specification table below.
At 920 mm wide, 515 mm deep and 1815 mm tall it is a floor-standing upright, so check the 1815 mm height against low ceilings and the 920 mm width against doorways on the delivery route. It weighs 150 kg, so plan for a two-person position on install rather than shifting it single-handed once it is sited.
