Why this undercounter display freezer earns its place
The Tefcold UF200VSG is an undercounter display freezer built to keep frozen stock in view at the point of sale. It offers 200 litres gross and 120 litres net over three white wire shelves, with 0.24 m² of display area behind the front. The exterior is finished in SS430 stainless steel, the interior in white ABS, and at 850 mm high it slots under a counter run to merchandise ice cream and frozen lines close to the till.
Day to day it holds -24 to -10 °C using static cooling under an electronic controller. It is rated to climate class 4, so it maintains temperature in the warmer ambient conditions of a busy back-of-counter position. At 2266.7 kWh a year it works out to about £567 a year at 25p/kWh, sitting in energy class D with an energy efficiency index of 46.5%; actual running cost varies with your tariff, ambient temperature and how often the door is opened.
The cabinet measures 600 × 600 × 850 mm externally and ships as a 690 × 650 × 910 mm packed carton, so the 690 mm packed width clears a standard doorway on delivery. It weighs 47 kg net and 52 kg gross, and connects to a standard 13-amp socket at 220-240V/50Hz single phase, so no special electrics are needed.
