Why this triple door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The BMF3 is Blizzard's triple-door upright display freezer — a full-height glazed freezer with three hinged glass doors across the front. It merchandises frozen stock behind glass so customers can see the range without opening a door, which suits retail frozen lines: ice cream, frozen ready meals, frozen bakery, chips and packaged frozen food. The three-door width gives a substantial glazed frozen shopfront in a single upright cabinet.
The freezer runs on R290a, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a low global warming potential. The three hinged glass doors keep the frozen display enclosed and visible, so stock stays merchandised behind glass between customer visits. It is built as a display freezer — loaded with product that is already frozen and presented for selection — rather than a blast freezer for pulling warm product down from ambient.
Externally the cabinet is 1880 mm wide, 760 mm deep and 2003 mm tall (W×D×H). At just over two metres tall it is worth checking door and ceiling heights on the delivery route as well as the width, since the three-door front makes it a wide, tall single fixture. It uses R290a refrigerant, so installation and any servicing should be handled by a competent refrigeration engineer, and the condenser airflow should be kept clear once the freezer is in position.
