Why this double door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD LGF5000 BLACK is a double-door upright glass door display freezer built to merchandise frozen stock behind glass. Two hinged glass doors open onto a 1.38 m² display with 10 shelves and a 1108-litre gross volume, so you can present a full range of frozen lines at eye level. The black finish inside and out gives a consistent backdrop for packaging on the shelf.
Day to day, it holds -25 to -14 °C, low enough for hard-frozen retail stock, with automatic electric defrost clearing frost without staff stopping to do it. It carries an energy class C label and a measured 61 dB noise level. At the verified 4661.1 kWh a year, running cost is about £1165 a year at 25p/kWh, which is worth weighing against how long the doors stay busy.
On the build side, the internal usable space measures 1262 mm wide, 640 mm deep and 1520 mm high, and the cabinet plugs into a standard 13 A supply, drawing 1200 W. It runs on natural R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge. At 244 kg gross it is a heavy cabinet, so plan proper handling and a clear route into position on delivery.
