Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The View HC is a glass-top display chiller/freezer that puts stock on show from above, with 1.5 m² of display area for merchandising impulse frozen or chilled lines at the front of store. Gross volume is 995 litres and net usable volume is 613 litres. The exterior is finished in anthracite (RAL7016) over a white interior, a cabinet built to sit in the aisle rather than the back room.
Its temperature is adjustable right across -22 to +10 °C, so the same cabinet can be set to run frozen or held at chill as the stock plan changes. Cooling is static with automatic hot-gas defrost, so ice is cleared without manual intervention, and control is electronic. Noise is rated at 52 dB and it carries climate class 3. On energy class D it uses 3518 kWh a year, about £880 a year at 25p/kWh.
It draws 520 W and runs from a 13-amp supply. External dimensions are 1983 × 980 × 970 mm (W×D×H) — just under two metres long and 980 mm deep — so measure access routes before delivery. Gross weight is 210 kg (166 kg net). Cooling uses R290 refrigerant with a 113 g charge.
