Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD SFI250B-CF VS is a chest-format supermarket display cabinet in a black finish, built to present packaged stock along a store aisle. An internal width of 2370 mm gives 1.73 m² of open display area and 718 litres of usable space, with a white painted steel interior that keeps the cabinet easy to load and clean.
Cooling is static, run under electronic control with automatic hot-gas defrost so the cabinet clears itself without manual intervention. It sits in the C energy class with an efficiency index of 23%, drawing 2011.1 kWh a year — about £503 a year at 25p/kWh. Sound output is rated at 48 dB, low enough for a shop floor.
It arrives crated at 2570 × 915 × 980 mm and weighs 220 kg gross, 201 kg net, so plan the delivery route and floor loading in advance. It runs as a plug-in unit from a 220–240 V supply at up to 13 A with an 890 W input, and cools on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 130 g charge — no external plant required.
