Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD SFI145B-CF VS is a black-finish supermarket display cabinet built to put stock in front of customers on a busy retail floor. It offers 422 litres of net capacity behind 0.96 m² of display area, and the black exterior over a white painted-steel interior gives a clean, modern merchandising look.
It uses static cooling with automatic hot-gas defrost, so ice is cleared without you having to intervene, and an electronic controller manages the cycle. Noise is rated at 48 dB, low enough for a shop floor. At 1551.25 kWh a year it carries a C energy rating and 27.8% EEI, so running cost works out at about £388 a year at 25p/kWh.
Internally the cabinet measures 1320 × 720 × 627 mm, and it ships at 1520 × 915 × 980 mm packed — worth checking against your delivery access. It needs a standard 13 A supply on 220–240 V and runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 100 g charge. Net weight is 121 kg (139 kg gross), so plan for mechanical handling on delivery.
