Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The Tefcold MTF185B VS is a full-height glass-door display cabinet built to front a large range through three self-closing heated glass doors. With 779 litres of gross volume, 545 litres net and 1.0 m² of display area, it carries serious capacity behind a black exterior and a white painted-steel interior. The self-closing doors keep the cabinet shut between customers, and the heated glass helps the fronts stay clear for a full view of the stock.
Day to day it uses ventilated cooling with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, giving even air movement across the load and a clear setting to work from. It runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 135 g charge at climate class 4, and runs at a measured 58 dB(A). Rated energy class C, it uses 2672 kWh a year — about £668 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet has an internal footprint of 1730 × 480 × 947 mm (W×D×H) and connects at 220-240V/50Hz, so confirm your circuit and measure your access route before delivery. It is a heavy unit at 334 kg gross (272 kg net), so plan lifting equipment and a clear path into position, with clearance for the three doors to swing.
