Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The Tefcold DUPLA 2.2DE HC RAL7016 is a supermarket display freezer built to move frozen impulse lines. Its 0.65 m² display area presents 425 litres of gross volume (334 litres net) across a 1470 mm-wide cabinet, putting frozen product where shoppers reach it. The anthracite RAL7016 exterior and white interior suit a customer-facing aisle or a back-of-house run.
The cabinet holds a -24 to -18 °C band under static cooling with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, keeping frozen stock hard through trading. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with an 80 g charge and runs at 46 dB. It carries climate class 3, rated for ambient temperatures up to 25 °C. At energy class C it draws 1496.5 kWh a year — about £374 a year at 25p/kWh.
