Why this impulse cooler/freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD UHD201 Black Impulse Chiller/Freezer is an open-front impulse merchandiser built to sit at the point of sale and turn browsing into an extra basket item. Its black-and-glass front presents 0.84 m² of display, with a gross volume of 200 litres and 165 litres of net usable space for packed food and drink. The format is designed to be seen into and reached straight into, placing impulse stock where footfall already is.
Cooling is ventilated for even air movement across the load, and defrost is automatic on a hot-gas cycle, so there is no manual defrost to schedule. An electronic controller manages operation. The cabinet carries an energy class of F, draws 4033.3 kWh a year — about £1008 a year at 25p/kWh — and runs at a measured 50 dB, quiet enough for a shop floor or counter position.
The interior measures 1075 × 705 × 295 mm (W×D×H). Packed for transport the cabinet measures 1400 × 1100 × 1120 mm and weighs 142 kg gross, 132 kg net, so plan delivery access and final siting accordingly. It runs from a 220-240 V supply and draws 661 W. Refrigerant is R290 hydrocarbon with a 310 g charge, a low-GWP gas standard on efficient modern cabinets.
