Why this ice cream machine earns its place
The Spaceman S68C is a free-standing soft serve ice cream machine for sites that want a serious single-flavour soft serve line. It is built in stainless steel and stands 1541mm high on a 443 × 653mm footprint, so it works as a floor-positioned production machine rather than a countertop appliance.
Output is the point here: the manufacturer rates the S68C at up to 420 servings per hour based on 80g portions. It is designed for soft serve ice cream, frozen yoghurt and sorbet, with adjustable controls for texture and consistency and a digital interface showing system status, temperatures, serve count and error alerts.
The machine keeps mix below 4.4°C in Cool and Standby modes, and automatic programming can switch modes to preset schedules. The built-in auto-pasteurisation system reduces manual cleaning to once every 21 days, while low-temperature, motor overload and high-pressure protections help guard the freezing cylinder and compressor.
