Why this sliding lid ice cream freezer earns its place
The IC102SC is a compact display chest freezer, built to merchandise ice cream and frozen impulse lines in a small footprint. It gives 108 litres gross and 91 litres net of usable frozen space in a white cabinet, so it holds frozen stock at the point of sale where a larger chest would not fit.
Day to day it holds -24 to -14 °C using static cooling with manual defrost, controlled by a mechanical thermostat. It runs on R600a with a 60 g charge, draws 180 W on a 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply and is rated at 45 dB. On energy it is class D at about 452.2 kWh a year, which is roughly £113 a year at 25p/kWh depending on your tariff, the ambient temperature and how often the lid is opened.
For installation, the internal dimensions are 450 × 450 × 520 mm (W×D×H) and it is light at 47 kg gross, 42 kg net, so it is straightforward to position. Check the external footprint listed in the specification panel against your counter or floor space before ordering. The R600a refrigerant is a low-GWP hydrocarbon, and the unit runs on a standard 220–240 V / 50 Hz socket.
