Why this display chest freezer earns its place
The Elcold FOCUS 131 is a display chest freezer with a sliding curved glass lid, built to show frozen stock while it stays frozen. It holds 352 litres gross (254 litres net) with a hammered-aluminium interior that shrugs off knocks from loading and unloading, and the white and grey exterior sits neatly in a retail aisle or serve area. The curved glass top keeps product visible with the lid closed.
It runs static cooling from -23 to -16 °C, holding ice cream and frozen lines hard, with manual defrost and a mechanical controller set once and left. At 40 dB it is quiet enough for customer-facing floors, and climate class 4 covers typical indoor conditions. Energy class D at 715.4 kWh a year works out at about £179 a year at 25p/kWh.
External dimensions are 1300 × 650 × 850 mm (W×D×H) at 62 kg net, and it uses natural R290 refrigerant with an 80 g charge, drawing 142 W from a standard 13 amp socket on a 220-240 V supply. Internal space measures 1150 × 500 × 699 mm, and packed it ships at 1350 × 760 × 880 mm for delivery access.
