Why this trayslide earns its place
A 1/3 gastronorm model unit is a compact counter, and compact counters are exactly where a tray has nowhere to go. The customer ends up holding it against a forearm and working tongs with the other hand, or setting it down on the serving edge itself, which is the one surface that should stay clear. The TS30D puts a run at the front of the unit at tray height, so the tray moves along with the customer, both hands come free for lids and cutlery, and nothing gets rested across the food line.
Victor's fifty years are in the moving, holding and serving end of a kitchen, and the trayslide belongs to that thinking — it is sized to the unit rather than propped against it, so it lines up with the front and gets wiped down with the rest of the servery at the end of trade. On a small counter that a venue runs through breakfast, lunch and a function, it is the part every tray in the building touches.
