Why this platterstray earns its place
Full-size reach means one tray can hold a whole service station's worth of food. At 325mm × 530mm, APS's 1/1 GN tray is the standard gastronorm footprint — it fits directly into a chafing dish, a bain-marie, or a cold-hold cabinet. The white glossy melamine finish reads clean and modern under any lighting, whether you're running a buffet at an event or a cafeteria line.
Melamine is the right materiel for this scale. It's hard enough to survive the chaos of high-volume service, light enough that a full tray doesn't exhaust your staff, and it stacks without wobble. The 25mm height means a pile of these doesn't take up your entire cupboard, but it's substantial enough to hold serious quantities — a full tray of salad, a full batch of cold meats, or 30 plates' worth of plated components.
The dishwasher-safe rating is where the value shows: trays come off the line, straight through the machine, dry within minutes, and back in rotation. Most kitchens run eight to twelve 1/1 GN trays per service — enough that you always have clean stock rotating while the previous batch washes. For catering and events, you might stock a dozen or more if you're running parallel stations.
