Why this thermo boxe earns its place
This is the 6-rail version of Cambro's GoBox—smaller footprint than the 9-rail, but with more vertical space per rail, making it the choice when you're carrying deeper items or a mixed load. Six rails at 65 mm depth each means you can stack six full-size pans, or you can remove some rails and stack mixing bowls, containers, or items taller than a standard gastronorm pan. The 126-litre capacity is carefully sized: you get meaningful volume without the carrier becoming unwieldy.
Front-loading access is the key design feature—the full-width door swings out and locks at 270 degrees, meaning your team loads straight into the carrier from the prep station and unloads straight at the service point. No lifting over the top, no balancing trays while reaching. It's faster and safer. The hinges are built for thousands of cycles. At 6.34 kg empty, it's light enough for one person but usually moved by teams with a full load.
The polypropylene shell is chemically resistant and shockproof—it'll take impacts, heat from a hot pass, or a brush with a doorframe without cracking or denting. Pair it with a Cambro thermal exchanger on the back to actively manage temperature for any journey length. This carrier sits in the sweet spot for small-to-medium catering operations: not too big, not too small, and genuinely durable.
