Why this lid earns its place
Y424 is a 20cm tri-wall pan lid from Vogue, made from stainless steel and aluminium and finished in silver. It is the sort of cover you use when you want a pan to stay covered, stay hot and keep cooking moving.
The tri-wall construction puts aluminium between two layers of stainless steel, which Vogue says gives exceptional heat retention. That matters when you want a lid that supports quicker cooking and steady results instead of letting heat drift away.
The lid is dishwasher safe, weighs 0.29kg and is listed at 198.8mm in diameter, with a 214mm width shown in the specification. The manufacturer describes it as a 200mm lid and says it is compatible with Y246.
