Why this wine glasse earns its place
This is a wine glass built for work. Royal Leerdam developed the L'Esprit du Vin collection with wine associations and a sommelier—not as a prestige line, but as purpose-built glassware for restaurants and banqueting where efficiency and elegance need to coexist. The 320ml capacity is a proper red wine serve that doesn't skimp, and the larger foot plate keeps them stable through a crowded evening of service.
The laser-cut rim is a detail that changes the drinking experience. It removes the slight bite you get from a standard glass edge, giving your guests a smoother first contact. The finely stemmed design looks less industrial than a chunky tumbler, which matters when you're trying to create a proper dining atmosphere at a reasonable cost.
The real advantage is tray service—servers can work through a function with these in hand without worrying about them tipping or slipping. At 198mm tall with a 77mm diameter, they're proportioned for stability without looking squat. Six to a pack means you can build stock gradually without overcommitting to a huge order upfront.
