Why this wine glasse earns its place
At 580ml, this is the largest glass in the Cabernet range and the one designed explicitly for red wine service. The size matters because full-bodied reds genuinely need air — the wider bowl lets wine open and express its complexity in a way a smaller glass simply can't achieve. At 210mm tall and 84.5mm across, it's visibly generous without being impractical. The glass is tall enough to carry visual presence on a table, and the width-to-height ratio gives wine room to move and breathe.
This is Krysta lead-free crystal, tested to maintain brilliant clarity through 2,000 dishwasher cycles. That durability is important because if you're investing in proper wine service, your glassware needs to stay beautiful for years, not months. Standard crystal clouds and dulls; this stays clear and reads as quality even after seasons of service.
The Sheer Rim technology is the final detail. The rim is engineered to be incredibly thin, which means the wine's flavour hits the palate directly. With a big red wine that's meant to be appreciated, that thin rim makes a genuine difference — you taste the wine, not the glass. At just 150g, the glass feels light in the hand despite its generous bowl, which is the hallmark of well-made crystal.
