Why this dessert glasse earns its place
Where the Traditional Tall reaches upward, the Traditional Large spreads outward. The 135mm diameter and 135mm height create a shallow bowl form that's been part of formal dessert service for generations. This proportion lets you build a plate vertically, layer flavours with visible depth, and work with texture in ways a narrow glass won't allow.
The 185ml capacity is intimate—there's intention in every spoonful. A mousse with a fruit compote bottom, a panna cotta with fresh berries on top, a delicate sabayon: these desserts read better in a glass that lets the eye travel across the plate rather than down a narrow tube. The wider rim also provides practical advantage in plating—easier access, less clumsy when placing a precise garnish.
Pressed glass construction is durable at the rim. Glasswasher-safe. Clear glass shows the full profile of what's inside—the opacity of cream against the transparency of jelly, the layers in a mousse. The Traditional design language is timeless: it belonged in fine dining a generation ago, belongs now, will belong in the next. That's what "traditional" should mean.
