Why this dishe earns its place
These are working counter dishes for hot and cold service. The 2-litre capacity holds a generous shared portion—sauce, grain, composed salad or a small pie—without the formality of a tureen. Finished in super-vitrified ceramic with a white interior and barley tone accent, they read contemporary without competing with plated food.
The 194 mm width fits comfortably on a four-top table. They move between oven and table without fuss: from +180 °C for gratinées and individual gratins, chilled for cold starters and composed dishes. Churchill's glaze bonds the ceramic without adding thickness, so they stack efficiently and heat conducts evenly—no cold spots during holding or plating. The barley finish on the rim and foot adds visual depth while leaving the interior clear for food and photography.
A pack of four gives you a working set for one service turn or a backup set for a smaller operation. They're dishwasher safe from 60 °C upwards, and the glaze survives hundreds of cycles without fading or dulling. The white interior hides micro-staining better than beige, and the muted barley tone won't date the look.
