Why this plate earns its place
These are serving platters designed to hold a finished dish for table service — compact enough to work for any plating style without consuming half the table, substantial enough to support sauce work and garnish. At 299 mm across, they're the working platter size: not too big for a small plate, not too small for contemporary plating.
Super-vitrified ceramic is the commercial default for working crockery. It's harder and denser than standard glazed ceramics, which means it chips slower and resists the daily wear of hot dishwasher cycles and metal cutlery. The protective glaze that Churchill mentions isn't cosmetic — it's what keeps the surface intact after years of fast turnover.
Pack of six is the typical replacement set. When a few pieces chip or break in normal service, you can keep the range running without re-ordering bulk stock. Stackable for storage, dishwasher safe at full heat cycles.
