Why this plate earns its place
Service plates carry the plated dish from kitchen to table and often stay throughout the meal. The 330 mm size sits under a 250–280 mm main plate without overhang, creating a finished formal place setting. Glazed porcelain holds heat and weight without fragility, and the rolled rim resists chips from handling and service.
Vitrified porcelain is hard enough to resist chipping under normal use, and the glaze is food-safe from dishwasher cycles to plate warmers. Stack them flat in storage to protect the rim; stack them upright (carefully) in the dishwasher. The white finish is neutral — it won't compete with plating or clash with any table setting.
Churchill's five-year edge-chip warranty covers manufacturing defects. The consistent glaze finish across the rim means stacking is safe and catching is unlikely.
