Why this plate earns its place
The Alchemy Energy plate is contemporary tableware that works hard on a plate pass. At 327 × 227 mm, it's large enough for composition plating or a sharing-style dish without looking like a serving platter. The rectangular shape gives you room to play with asymmetry and layering, and the white body doesn't compete with the food — it sits back and lets the plate tell the story.
The glaze finish on both top and foot is intentional. The glazed foot grips the table or counter without marking it, so you can slide plates during service without dragging porcelain directly across linen or wood. The white finish holds up under the run — it doesn't yellow under heat lamps or dull after years of plating and washing. Porcelain retains heat longer than earthenware, so a plate that leaves the kitchen hot stays hot through the pass.
Stackable design means prep can be fast; you can build a stack of plated dishes and hold them warm without worrying about the base plate chipping from contact. At 4.96 kg for six plates, they're light enough to handle through a full service, and they survive 90 °C dishwashers without crazing. The rectangular form plays well with modern plating — it breaks the circle and opens up where you place elements on the plate.
