The 300mm plates are made from super-vitrified porcelain with an ultra-smooth, high-fired glaze. That dense construction helps retain heat, while the glazed surface is resistant to permanent marking and designed to withstand the demands of busy kitchen environments. The porcelain complies with BS4034 standards, so the plates can be used in hotels.
Supplied in packs of six, the plates stack neatly for storage between services. They are dishwasher-safe, and the manufacturer also states that they are suitable for ovens, microwaves and freezers, giving kitchens useful flexibility from preparation through to clear-down.
