Why this plate earns its place
The Makers Collection draws from Nordic craftsmanship: each plate carries hand-glazed radial markings that mimic the texture of hand-woven jute, created in-glaze for kitchen durability. Grey vitrified china resists chipping at the rim and bounce-marks from the pass-through, which matters in a busy kitchen where plates stack and slide daily.
The 275 mm coupe shape puts this at the smaller end of the dinner-plate spectrum — useful when portion size is controlled or table space is tight. Finest vitrified means the surface won't craze under the thermal shock of service: cold plate into hot food, then straight into the dishwasher at 65 °C. Stacks cleanly and runs through standard high-temperature cycles without degradation.
Hand-finished glazing can read as premium to the diner, which justifies a higher-end menu position whilst delivering the durability of commercial crockery underneath.
